Dr Muddassir Rashid is a nationally recognised interventional radiologist with 15+ years of specialist experience. As Director of IR at Gold Coast University Hospital (GCUH) and Senior Staff Specialist in Paediatric IR at Queensland Children's Hospital, he holds one of Australia's rare dual adult/paediatric IR appointments. He is concurrently Associate Professor at Bond University and Senior Lecturer at Griffith University Medical Schools.
A gold medallist in MBBS (10 medals) and MD, and recipient of the President of India Gold Medal, he combines exceptional procedural skills with 36+ peer-reviewed publications and active PI roles in multicentre RCTs. Fellow of RANZCR and holder of the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) credential.
